Marianne Emond
PhD candidate
Marianne Emond is a doctoral student in psychology registered with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She is supervised by Marie Noël, psychologist, in individual psychotherapy, and Jessica Kokin, psychologist, in couples psychotherapy.
She is currently completing her doctorate in clinical psychology (Ph.D.) at the Université de Montréal. Through her clinical experience, Marianne has worked with adults and couples who consult her for a variety of reasons, including relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, emotional management and domestic violence.
Whether she is working with individuals or couples, her interventions are primarily based on a humanistic approach. More specifically, she works with individuals using an intersubjective humanistic approach, and with couples using emotion-focused therapy (EFT). Marianne accompanies her clients in a process of self-exploration and understanding, paying particular attention to listening to their emotions and needs. In her work with clients, she advocates the development of a collaborative and authentic therapeutic relationship, in a space of trust, openness and caring.
She offers face-to-face individual and couples psychotherapy to adult clients.
