Pascale is a dedicated psychologist who works with adolescents who seek to better understand their concerns and symptoms, which can be in the range of depressive affects, relationship and family difficulties, difficulties in social skills, identity questions of all kinds or any other concern relating to their evolution in this intense developmental period. Her approach is transparent, open and non-judgmental, and she is warm, aiming first and foremost to create a climate of emotional security in the therapist-client relationship. Her clinical framework is inspired by the psychodynamic theory and her approach is creative and tailored to the needs of the client; she borrows tools from cognitive behavioural therapies and dialectical behavioural therapies.
Pascale is a member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec, she completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Montreal and obtained her doctorate in educational psychology at the University of Quebec in Montreal. Her main field of interest is attachment between the child and parent, more precisely how it may have influenced the emotional development of the child and the emergence of symptoms. Her main practice focuses on children and adolescents who are under the Youth Protection Act and who experience attachment and psychological disorders. In her career, she has also developed experience in the field of child psychiatry and has an interest in the detection and early intervention of psychotic disorders in children and adolescents.
