Gina Dahine
Psychologist
Dr. Gina Dahine completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Sherbrooke. Her capacity for empathy, steadiness and active listening, as well as her sense of responsibility and clinical judgment, were reinforced during her internships and residency at the Université de Sherbrooke psychology clinic.
During her training, she acquired significant experience in assessing and intervening in a variety of issues, such as anxiety, relationship difficulties, depression, professional challenges, emotion management, personality disorders, addictions and many others.
For the past nine years, Gina has been in private practice, first as a doctoral student, then as a psychologist. Her psychodynamic approach explores the role of the unconscious in psychological difficulties, often linked to unresolved conflicts from the past. By becoming aware of these conflicts, clients can improve their current functioning and enhance their psychological well-being
Gina provides a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, anxieties and inner conflicts. She firmly believes that psychotherapy is a collaborative process between client and psychologist. Dr. Dahine offers individual and couples psychotherapy for adults.
