Nesma Etoubashi

Nesma is a doctoral candidate in McGill’s School/Applied Child Psychology program working under the supervision of Elka Leiba, Ph.D, OPQ.
She completed her clinical training at Lester B. Pearson School Board, The Montreal Fluency Centre, Summit school for students with neurodevelopmental conditions, and the McGill Psychoeducational and Counselling Clinic. Nesma has received additional training in Child-Centered Play Therapy, which she uses as her main approach when working with children. Nesma genuinely loves working with children and their families to support them with their difficulties and to foster their healthy development. Her approach is warm and inviting, and generally pulls from an attachment-based and developmental framework. Additionally, Nesma works with parents on cultivating effective parenting techniques (also known as “parental/caregiver coaching”).
Nesma offers services in English and French.
